In its unique role as a grantmaker and civic leader, time and again, the Boston Foundation has been ‘there at the beginning,’ providing seed capital for innovations in all areas of community life.

We invite you to learn more about the Foundation’s role in helping to launch some of our community’s most important nonprofit institutions and encouraging new ideas that have, quite literally, transformed our city—and the donors who have made it all possible.

Use the <- left and right -> arrow keys or mouse over the upper corners of the images to move forward or backward through the slides.
